The Long Slow Stroke
A light, exploratory technique that spans the entire vulva to identify high-sensitivity zones.
How to do it
Using one or more fingers, apply very light, feathered pressure. Begin at the bottom of the vaginal opening and slowly glide your fingers upward, passing over the middle of the vulva and finishing at the top of the clitoris. Once you are comfortable with the upward motion, experiment with downward strokes or a continuous up-and-down rhythm. Adjust your speed and pressure as you go, paying close attention to which specific spots trigger the most intense response.
Why it works
This technique focuses on sensory exploration rather than immediate climax. By using a light touch over a larger surface area, you engage different sets of nerve endings across the vulva and clitoral hood. It helps in mapping out personal “hot spots” that might be missed during more localized stimulation. The variation in direction and pressure prevents sensory habituation, keeping the nervous system responsive to subtle changes in touch.
